Udawalawe National Park

  • Explore the stunning Udawalawe National Park, known for its large elephant population, scenic landscapes, and rich diversity of wildlife. This safari offers a unique opportunity to observe the animals in their natural habitat.

    If you choose transportation with us, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Mirissa, Weligama or Matara around 3:30 a.m., ensuring arrival at Udawalawe by 5:30 a.m. The tour will start at 6:00 a.m.

    After the safari, we will take you back to your accommodation.

  • Our Udawalawe safaris are available daily with advance booking. Please contact us to confirm your preferred date.

    1. 3-Hour Tour

      • Tour Time: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

    2. 6-Hour Tour

      • Tour Time: 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

    • Pick-Up: If you choose transportation with us, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Mirissa at 3:30 a.m., ensuring arrival at Udawalawe by 5:30 a.m. The tour will start at 6:00 a.m.

    • Return: After the safari, we will take you back to your accommodation.

    • Wildlife and Animal Sightings: Udawalawe is famous for its elephant sightings, but the park also hosts a variety of other wildlife, including deer, monkeys, and numerous bird species. As with all wildlife tours, sightings are not guaranteed, as the animals’ movements are unpredictable in their natural habitat.

    • Road Conditions: Please note that the roads within the park are bumpy, which can be challenging for older visitors or those with back issues. During the safari, we are not allowed to leave the vehicle.
