1. Introduction

Welcome to Sathu Tours ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (www.sathutours.com), the services we provide, and the relationship between you ("the client" or "you") and Sathu Tours. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Scope of Services

Sathu Tours specializes in organizing travel experiences, including package tours, customized travel arrangements, and other related services. Our role is to act as an intermediary between you and various service providers, such as airlines, hotels, and local operators.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation and receive the required deposit or full payment, as specified during the booking process.

3.2 Payment Terms

4.2 Inclusions and Exclusions The inclusions and exclusions for each tour or service will be specified in your booking confirmation. Expenses not explicitly included, such as personal expenses, travel insurance, and visa fees, are your responsibility.

5. Changes and Cancellations

5.1 Changes by the Client Requests to change your booking must be submitted in writing. Additional charges may apply based on the service provider's terms.

5.2 Cancellations by the Client Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following charges will apply:

  • [X%] of the total cost if canceled [X days] or more before departure.

  • [X%] of the total cost if canceled [X days] before departure.

  • 100% of the total cost if canceled within [X days] of departure.

5.3 Changes or Cancellations by Us While we strive to avoid changes, we reserve the right to modify or cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements or a refund.

6. Responsibilities and Liability

6.1 Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all travel documents, including passports and visas, are valid and up-to-date.

  • Comply with local laws and regulations during your trip.

  • Inform us of any special requirements or medical conditions in advance.

6.2 Liability Sathu Tours acts as an intermediary and is not liable for the acts or omissions of service providers. Our liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the relevant booking.

7. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. Your insurance should cover cancellations, medical expenses, personal liability, and other relevant risks.

8. Health and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring you meet the health requirements for your chosen destination. Consult your doctor for advice and required vaccinations.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through mutual discussions.

If a resolution cannot be reached within [30/60] days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995 of Sri Lanka. The arbitration shall take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and the proceedings shall be conducted in [language, e.g., English or Sinhala]. The decision of the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding on both parties.
